Blightsoul. Blightsoul! The white cat could not believe that she was a warrior. Sure, she was shy, timid, and a bit bipolar, but the Clan called her name. They called her name! Her heart was racing in her chest, and her paws had a mind of its own. She was proud, even more than her apprentice ceremony. She was a warrior!
She found herself right in front of Speedwell, but she didn't show any emotion. She only did when they were alone, but even that was rare. Everyone probably thought she was heartless and evil, but she wouldn't fight about it. Speedwell could very much be her only friend. She puffed her chest out and smiled briefly before it vanished into oblivion.

Speedwell smiled in return softly. "Congratulations, Blightsoul." He purred proudly and gave her a quick swipe of the tongue across the forehead. The purr continued to rumble deep in his throat. Of course, he was happy for his apprentice. His first apprentice receiving a Warrior name was a big thing. His mixed green eyes sparkled in narrowed eye crescents, and his mouth was parted slightly with a cat-like smile. "Now just remember, not a word out of your mouth tonight." Speedwell murmured, though he knew it wouldn't be much of a problem for her.
It was sad to see his apprentice go on to be a Warrior. He wondered if they'd stay close like Mentor and Apprentice, or if they'd just go their separate paths after a while. Well, he knew he was very fond of the she-cat, but he wouldn't say it. That just might be a little to weird for such a young cat- even if she as nearing a year and a half of age.

Blightsoul rolled her ice blue eyes. She hadn't talked all her life, since she met Speedwell. Everyone thought she was mute--they thought she couldn't be a warrior, but she showed them wrong. She gave him one last look and walked to the enterance, knowing it was her duty to guard tonight. There wasn't going to be any words, any emotion. She watched the cats fill up the dens. She sort of wished she could curl up in the warriors' den tonight--one, it would be her first time in there and two, it was a little chilly tonight. She forgot three, Speedwell would be there. She started to think.
Would Speedwell allow her to move her bed next to him? Would she be able to move her bed next to him? How early would they have to wake up? Did this mean she could hunt by herself? Oh, she wanted to hunt with Speedwell. Yeah, she knew she had no feelings with him, but she really loved spending as much time as possible with him. That was the only remorse of turning into a warrior.

Speedwell returned to his den last, sparring one last glance at Blightsoul before disappearing into the den. He moved to his nest, and made himself comfortable. His maw tucked near his hind legs, and his thin tail drawn around him.. he looked very peaceful. There was happy twinkle to his green gaze, because next to him was a newly made nest of moss and feathers. It was just for Blightsoul. There was a little snicker on the other side of him.
He brought his head up and turned it to the left to see a small bushy ginger tom staring at him. His cerulean blue eyes sparkled. The tom was older then him, about fifty moons, but he was still a pain the rear. "Speedwell and Blightsoul sitting in a-" The tom singsonged in a hushed voice, only to have a tail slapped across his maw. Speedwell glared at him.
"Hush, Foxfang. And go to sleep." The tom growled, and with a roll of his eyes tucked his head back down. Foxfang sneered his lip, his ears whipping to the sides of his heads in a hurt manner. The childish tom made a ridiculous face, and curled up as well. Within a few minutes, both toms had fallen asleep.
[ I'm going to make Naruto and Sasuke as Warriors again. Foxfang is Naruto, I just need to make the Bio. Sasuke is Hiddenstripe and going back to WindClan. Unfortunately, Aisu.. which was Hana, got killed. ._. And so did Sakura, who was Blossomheart. xD ]

Blightsoul sat down, putting her tail over her paws and looking up at the moon. It was only a sliver, but, still, it was beautiful. She kept her ears perked and her nose ready for any enemy alert to ring. But none came.
[ *morning ]
Blightsoul blinked twice, the early sun blinding her temporarily. She sat at this same position all night and it felt like an eternity. Though, it did give her time to think about things. Her blue eyes were still alert, but her muscles were sore. I drizzled slightly, but she was a RiverClan cat, so she welcomed the small rain droplets. Her fur was slightly plastered to her fur and small dew droplets accumulated on her whiskers. All around, on the grass, on the caves, on the trees, were little droplets that made the camp sparkle. This was one of the truly magical moments of dawn. Her blue eyes dragged to the warriors' den, willing Speedwell to come out first.

Oddly, a russet fox-marked tom sprang out of the den. He mrrowed with laughter. Need a reason? Well, right after him Speedwell shot out as well. It was easy to pin the russet tom, Speedwell towered over him for a moment and hissed warningly, "You're nearly senior warrior and you act like that?" Speedwell stepped off of the tom and turned simply towards Blightsoul. The tom stood up with a mischeivous twinkle in his cerulean blue eyes.
"Bah-leave-et!" Foxfang laughed and struck a teethy grin before standing up and turning the opposite direction. He blinked towards Blightsoul on his turn and left the camp swiftly. Speedwell shook off what had happened and smiled to Blightsoul. "You can speak now, if you want." He chuckled and glanced towards the Warrior's den. "Now, you can either grab something to eat or head straight for the dens. My suggestion, eat before the food gets soggy." Speedwell joked mildly and left the she-cat for the pile of fresh-kill a few tail-lengths away.
He snatched up a rare rabbit in his jaws and settled down under the willow tree that shaded the Warrior's den. The tom made sure he didn't get in the she-cats face. They were not Mentor and Apprentice anymore, just fellow Warriors. He couldn't boss her around anymore.. at least not like he used to be able to.

Blightsoul blinked at Speedwell and suddenly let out a large yawn. She opened her jaws wide and arched her back, spreading her paws and neck. When she finished, she trotted to the food pile, grabbed a rabbit and padded to where the soft-fured tom lay. There was about a good inch between them. Her tail was moving up and down, hitting the ground and up in the air. She was so jittery right now. She tore into her meat quickly, as if she hadn't eaten in days. God, it felt like she hadn't eaten in days.
"So what are we doing today?" she murmured, so softly, she could barely hear her own voice. "Hunting, battling, patroling...." She trailed off. She wasn't an apprentice anymore. She doubted he'd want to do any of that stuff with her anymore. She could do all of it alone, but she didn't want to. She'd walk the world, and back, but only if Speedwell were there. She found confidence in him, she found her happy side. And, truthfully, she loved that happy side he gave her. "Sorry," she sighed, inching a little away from him.
When she was an apprentice, she'd be so close to him, admiring his soft, rabbit-like fur. She knew she couldn't do that now. Apprentices were always a thick line, but being a warrior, it was like it dialated into one, small thread. She looked down at her prey as she ate. She sort of wished she was an apprentice again. Then, she could see Speedwell everyday. Now... She didn't even know that she'd see him tomorrow, or that there was a warm, cozy bed waiting for her right next to the green-eyed tom.

Speedwell savored his rabbit while he listened to her. Rabbit was a rare meal for him. It wasn't often that he got his favorite meal. He finished after a bit, and pretended to think. "Well, first you're going to rest for a bit." He stated and paused. "Then around sunhigh the two of us are going hunting." The mottled brown tom lifted his lips in a slight smile and stood. "Sound good?"
Just because they were not mentor and apprentice anymore, doesn't mean the tom would just forget about Blightsoul. He was determined to keep them together through patrols and hunting parties, and he was sure that would work.

Blightsoul flicked her black-tipped tail and sprang up with renewed energy. However, her body immediately shut down when she thought about a warm, cozy bed. "Wait for me?" she whispered, her voice sounding drained. She walked by him, her tail flicking his nose as she left. She sniffed out Speedwell's bed and found one that held no scent next to him. She glanced behind her and smiled brightly. So he did leave a bed for her! She gnawed the ground with her paws, joy rolling off of her like a tsunami. She walked into the warm bed and twirled around a couple of times. She then lay down, putting her tail over her nose.
The bed was pretty big, so she looked like a kit in it. She was incredibly small for her age, but that never stopped her. She never froze in the coldest of winters and she couldn't drown. Being small had it's advantages. You were faster, more balanced, lighter.... She found herself breathing deeply, in search for that scent that was Speedwell's. She didn't care if he gave an answer or not, she was asleep in a heartbeat.

Speedwell chuckled and sat down in the nest that was his. It wasn't long until Foxfang entered the den, and gave them a wry smile. "Don't worry, she'll want to sleep all day. We'll be back before sunhigh." He laughed. Speedwell nodded, and left to patrol.
Speedwell and Foxfang came back after a few hours of remarking scent boundaries. All was quiet, which was good. After an entire year of fighting with the Clans, it was good to see that everything was calming down. The elders didn't think so, which was sad. Minnowfur said she suspected that with four new and inexperienced leaders stepping up would mean chaos until they got the hang of things. Hopefully it wouldn't reach a state of chaos. The many battles had been enough for Blightsoul, and enough for him.
Speedwell slipped into the Warrior's den and prodded Blightsoul's side gently. "C'mon, wake up." He said in a clear voice. "Time to go hunting." The tom stepped back to give Blightsoul some room, and sat down to give his pelt a quick wash.

Blightsoul stayed still, opening one eye to check if there were any warriors in the den--there weren't... that were asleep, that is. She located her previous mentor and sprang at him, making them roll out of the den. Finally, the stopped at the middle of the clearing, the white she-cat ontop. She huffed in satisfaction. "Pinned you," she murmured. Her eyes glistened mischieviously. Oh, yeah, this she-cat was awake alright. She got off of him. A shame to wash himself, and just get dirty again. Oh, well.

Speedwell flipped back on his side, and stood up. He chuckled a little. "Still playing your Apprentice games?" He teased and gave her a quick nip on the shoulder. After he thought about it for a moment, he sighed. "Though I'm one to talk, aren't I?" The tom mumbled to himself, and was glad that Foxfang hadn't noticed. His green eyes scanned over his pelt, it was covered in dirt again. With a little shrug he stood.
"Okay, let's go." He said and narrowed his eyes. "And you lead the way." Speedwell purred mischievously.

Blightsoul looked at him for a moment, shrugging her shoulder slightly. She rolled her eyes at him and was off in a flash, jumping over the wettest of places so mud wouldn't get on her startling white pelt. She didn't make a sound, making sure her paws landed the right way so they wouldn't make a splosh sound in the marshy waters. Finally, the land started to dry up and there was open lands before the beach came and then the lake. She crouched, her form completely under the short grass.
She didn't even wait for her previous mentor; she smelled a sparrow, not too far away. Silently, she creeped up to the scent and she saw the sparrow, pecking at a hole in which a worm would repeatedly pop out of. She pounced, and landed on the bird, digging her teeth into its neck before it could squeal. She buried it and set off, for she smelled rabbit. She couldn't wait to see the look on Speedwell's face when she caught her first rabbit! She hoped it would be a runner.

Speedwell easily caught up to Blightsoul. He found himself atop one of the slopes that rose just before the lake. His green eyes caught sight of Blightsoul's striking white coat easily. A scent hit the roof of his mouth, and he smiled. Rabbits were rare up here, but they were out there, and she had found one.
Speedwell continued on at a slow pace, keeping behind Blightsoul. He wouldn't alarm the rabbit, he was careful of that. Being the protective tom he was, he had to keep an eye on his former apprentice. One more step, and Blightsoul was in sight. He smiled as he watched his former apprentice hunt.

Blightsoul silently crept up to the plump rabbit, but, having bad luck, a twig somehow got under her paw and snapped. The rabbit instantly started to dash away and Blightsoul ran after it. She streaked the field with her white pelt, feeling exhilerated. The rabbit was right in front of her and she caught it by its neck. However, she lost her footing and tumbled forward, right onto the scorching black pavement that was the thunderpath.
As if on cue, a monster started to madly reach towards the white she-cat. Her ears were pricked and her eyes were wide. Terror coursed through her veins, making her let out a yelp. She was going to get hit and this was the end. She had no time to move--if she did, the large circular black thing that made the monster go would surely get her. So she flattened herself, pressing her tail and ears close to her body and closing her eyes. Please let me live to see Speedwell again, she pleaded to StarClan.
