h i d d e n s t r i p e 'you dont even know what it feels like to be alone' The furry creature merely picked his way through the tall fronds of meadow grass. It didn't think anything was wrong. The poor thing didn't know it'd be dinner soon enough. Why? Because three feet away, amber eyes locked on the creature. And this creature, was preparing to pounce. It had shuffled its paw up against it's chest, and had angled its hind leg perfectly. Three.. two.. one-! The rabbit lifted its head and jumped right into RiverClan's territory.
"Mouse-dung!" Hiddenstripe sat up and spat. The dark tabby whirled around to head back to camp, but there was a sudden thump on the ground. He glanced back to see the rabbit, dead, lying a fox-length away. Hiddenstripe shook his head, and turned around. "I know you're there, Foxfang." But no answer. Stupid mouse-brain, just leaving like that. Hiddenstripe snatched the rabbit it and scratched some dirt over it. He'd pick that up later.

A brown cat slowly walked up to Hiddenstripe, a quiet cat among the others. "Hello, Hiddenstripe," Brackenfern murmured quietly. "Sun is happy this morning, isn't she?" If he had eyebrows, he'd be raising them. He smiled at his Clanmate, lashing his tail. Normally, he's quiet, but with that talk with his Clan, he'd become more into people.

h i d d e n s t r i p e 'you dont even know what it feels like to be alone' Hiddenstripe glanced lazily to the tom before suppressing a groan. If there was one cat he hated more then the cats who murdered his sisters, it was this tom right here. The stupid tom obviously didn't know what it felt like to be alone, he was way to happy-go-lucky for that. "The sun can burn out for all I care," Hiddenstripe growled and tasted the air for prey. Nothing, the stupid tom must have frightened them off.

Hiddenstripe glanced side-ways toward the deputy. His amber gaze was narrowed, not the most friendliest look, and his lips were pursed. Sadly, he couldn't get angry with the upper-ranks, for he knew it'd only cause him trouble in the future. "Oh, No-fight here just came to interrupt my hunting." He shrugged his head toward Brackenfern and tried to suppress his annoyance toward these cats. Ah, but it couldn't be helped. This was his Clan now, though he remembered it being more enjoyable when his sister was alive. She was always so.. optimistic, but that had always cheered him up.
ooc: Crappy post sorry. x-x I just had to post SOMETHING before I died. Good thing I did, I was loosing my touch. Four simple spelling mistakes. -shudder-

Thornfur narrowed his eyes only a bit.. And slightly turned his head sideways, he was wondering if something was wrong with Hiddenstripe... But he didn't ask.. Thornfur had always felt that talking wouldn't cheer people up but falling would... " Well why don't we all go hunting together we might be able to catch double prey..." Thornfur meowed peiotly... As Thornfur spoke he eyed a whole and purposely walked over to it and tripped.. Trying to make Hiddenstripe laugh. "MOUSE DUNG" Thornfur yowled as he tryed to make his act seem realistic so that Hiddenstripe wouldn't tell that it was a fake.

(ooc: Can I jump in on the action?) Shadowhawk stalked from the shadows, a snarl crossing his face. Realizing it was only his clanmates who stood before him, Shadowhawk replaced his snarl with a stoic look. The tan tom prowled forward toward the others, his eyes darting from each clanmate to the next. "Hello," he murmured just loud enough for them to catch it. Shadowhawk sat with his tail wrapped neatly around his from paws. His deep knowing eyes landed on Hiddenstripe. Shadowhawk could feel the hostility pulsing from the other tom. But, Shadowhawk knew almost as much as Hiddenstripe did about how much is hurt to be alone. Feel alone. Know you are alone. With the whole of Shadowhawk's family murdered, he knew Hiddenstripe could relate to his own sharp tongue and hostility.

"Mouse-brain." Hiddenstripe muttered at Thornfur's attempt at humor. His amber eyes set a glare to the deputy as his pursed lips showed no sign of laughter, "Your act of humor probably just scared away all the prey, Thornfur. You should think before you do something ridiculous like that." He sighed and looked for scents on the air. Nothing. Suppressing a growl, he turned his attention to the tom that had just made an appearance. "Please tell me you picked some prey up on the way here, or we'll probably go hungry for the rest of the day, Shadowhawk." He probably exaggerated the fact that the prey would come out once they left, but oh well, he was fairly ticked.
ooc: Don't mind Hiddenstripe, it's in his nature to mock others and make him look all high and mighty.

Thornfur narrowed his eyes into an angered glare. He was only trying to lighten the hostility that pressed down on the group. With an indifferent flick of his tail, Thornfur sat a little ways away from Shadowhawk and licked his paw pointedly. "The prey is running strong. It's greenleaf now. We should have no trouble feeding our clan," he meowed, his tone deep and filled with authority. The young multicolored tom twitched his whiskers and looked over the moorland.

(ooc: we were, since I didn't have a computer at the time. i edited, however) Shadowhawk flicked his tail again and looked to Hiddenstripe. "Of course. I was on a solo hunting patrol and picked up some prey before I met up with you." Shadowhawk tightened his jaw glanced between his deputy and his fellow warrior. The ginger tom turned his knowing gaze back to Thornfur. "Have there been any rabbits on the moors yet? I can't wait to catch one of those creatures," Shadowhawk said with a stern air to his voice.

Thornfur look at Shadowhawk and smiled a little "Yes while i was catching my thrush i tasted rabbit in the air we should all go hunting together and then go back to camp, or we can take are separate way and hunt alone whatever is better."

Shadowhawk bowed his head respectfully. "Whatever suits you," he stated, aiming the reply at Hiddenstripe, Thornfur and Brackenfern. He continued to sit, his muscles tense as though he were expecting to pounce.
